TableCore

Legal

Terms of Service

The rules for using TableCore, with explicit safeguards for SQL-to-MongoDB translation and production data.

Effective August 17, 2026

Generated output requires independent verification

MongoDB collections can contain documents with different fields and BSON types. Never treat a successful translation or execution as proof that the result matches your intent.

TableCore is provided by Mateusz Trojański MagmaCore, a sole proprietor established in Poland ("MagmaCore", "TableCore", "we", "us"). Our address and registration details are set out in the Legal Notice. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the TableCore website, desktop application, documentation, account services, subscriptions, downloads, SQL-to-MongoDB translation and any related feature we make available (together, the "Service").

By creating an account, starting a subscription, downloading, installing, accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms are made available free of charge before a contract is concluded. You may display, save and print them at any time using your browser. On request, we will provide the current version in a form that can be stored and reproduced.

In these Terms, "Consumer" means a consumer under applicable mandatory law. Where mandatory law extends particular consumer protections to a natural person entering into a contract directly connected with their business but outside that person's professional character, references to a consumer or Consumer include that person to the extent required by that law. This definition does not assume that every consumer protection applies to every business transaction.

1. Who may use TableCore

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract. You must provide accurate information where the Service requests it and keep your authentication methods secure. TableCore accounts are passwordless and may use Google, GitHub or Microsoft authentication. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures. This section governs who may use the Service at all; which plan you may use is a separate question, and section 7 answers it for the Free plan.

2. Types and scope of electronic services

Depending on availability and your plan, TableCore provides the following electronic services:

  • a public website containing product information, pricing, release information, documentation and articles;
  • installer and software-update downloads;
  • passwordless account registration and sign-in through supported external identity providers;
  • an authenticated account portal with plan, licence, subscription, invoice, download, preference and support functions;
  • licence-status and entitlement services used by the desktop application;
  • support and feedback submission; and
  • software functionality supplied through the TableCore desktop application, including local MongoDB connection management, SQL-to-MongoDB translation, query execution and result presentation.

The public web converter translates queries locally in your browser, does not connect to any database and is provided as a free convenience outside any paid plan's guaranteed scope. Features marked preview, beta, experimental, planned or coming soon are not part of the currently guaranteed scope and may be incomplete, may change or may never be released. The current scope and plan availability are shown on the website and in the documentation.

Subject to these Terms, the plan eligibility requirements in section 7 and any applicable plan limits, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, revocable only as provided in these Terms, to install and use TableCore for your own internal personal or business purposes. The licence does not transfer ownership of TableCore or any intellectual property.

Public website and documentation services are generally available without an account. Account, billing, support, licensing and paid capabilities require the corresponding account, authentication or plan shown in the Service.

3. Technical requirements and operational risks

To use the website and account services, you need:

  • a device with a working internet connection and a current, supported web browser capable of TLS/HTTPS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
  • JavaScript and strictly necessary cookies enabled for OAuth, authenticated sessions and account functions;
  • access to a supported Google, GitHub or Microsoft account for the currently enabled sign-in methods; and
  • a valid e-mail address accessible through the selected identity provider and, when e-mail features are enabled, an e-mail client.

To install and use the currently published desktop application, you additionally need:

  • a 64-bit Windows environment supported by the release identified on the Download page;
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, which is normally included with Windows 11 and may need to be installed separately on another supported Windows environment;
  • sufficient storage, memory, processor and display resources for the application, MongoDB result sizes and workload you choose;
  • network access to any MongoDB server you configure and credentials authorised for the intended operations; and
  • a MongoDB server and configuration compatible with the functionality described in the current TableCore documentation.

Internet access may also be required to download, authenticate, validate a licence, manage a subscription, obtain updates or use online support. Third-party provider requirements apply in addition to the above. You are responsible for maintaining supported and security-updated software, network access, firewall rules, backups and protection against malware.

Use of internet-connected software involves risks such as interception attempts, malicious software, credential theft, service interruption and unauthorised access. We use reasonable safeguards, but you must secure your device, provider account, operating system, network and database environment.

4. Prohibited and unlawful content or conduct

You must not provide, transmit, store or submit through the Service any content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights, contains malware or malicious instructions, facilitates unauthorised access, or violates a legal or contractual duty. Supplying content of an unlawful nature is expressly prohibited.

You must not use the Service to disrupt systems or other users, test or bypass security without authorisation, obtain credentials or data unlawfully, impersonate another person, evade rate limits or plan controls, or perform an operation against a database without the owner's authorisation.

You retain responsibility for content you submit. Where permitted or required by law, we may block access to or remove unlawful content, preserve relevant evidence, suspend the associated capability or account, and notify competent authorities. We do not undertake a general obligation to monitor all content.

5. Contract formation, duration and termination

You can review and store these Terms before using a contractual Service. A contract for the relevant TableCore service is concluded as follows:

  • for an account, when you choose a sign-in provider after the Terms are presented and registration or sign-in succeeds;
  • for the desktop licence and download service, when you activate the download and download, install or first use the application after the adjacent Terms notice is presented;
  • for a paid plan, when checkout is completed with the seller or merchant of record identified there and TableCore receives confirmation needed to activate the plan; and
  • for a support request, when the Service accepts your submitted request.

The public informational website can be left at any time. The account and Free services continue for an indefinite period until you request account deletion or we terminate them under these Terms. A paid subscription continues for the billing period displayed at checkout and renews for successive periods until cancelled, subject to the checkout terms and mandatory law.

You may terminate use of the Free desktop service by ceasing use and uninstalling it. You may request closure of your TableCore account through the authenticated support area or at tablecore.dev@gmail.com. You may cancel a paid subscription using the account billing controls or the transaction provider's subscription controls. Cancellation normally prevents renewal and does not remove access already paid for until the displayed end date, unless mandatory law or the seller's refund decision requires otherwise.

Termination does not erase records that must be retained under the Privacy Policy or applicable law. Where the payment provider is the merchant of record, ending the TableCore account does not by itself replace any cancellation step required in that provider's subscription controls; we will make the applicable path available in the account portal.

6. Licence restrictions

You may not sell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the Service; use a plan you are not eligible for under section 7; bypass plan, licence, access or usage controls; use it to compromise another system; introduce malicious code; or reverse engineer it except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits and does not allow that right to be waived.

Public documentation describes supported behaviour but is not a guarantee that every feature is suitable for every database or workload.

7. Free plan eligibility

The Free plan is licensed on the basis of who uses it, and not only of what it can do. You may use the Free plan if you are:

  • an individual using TableCore for personal, educational, academic or otherwise non-commercial purposes; or
  • an organisation — a company, sole proprietorship, partnership, non-profit, association, public body or any other entity — whose total annual revenue is less than USD 1,000,000.

Any other organisation must hold a paid plan — currently Pro, or Enterprise once it becomes available — for each individual who uses TableCore in or for that organisation's activity. This applies whether that individual is an employee, contractor, agent or other collaborator, whether they use their own device or the organisation's, and whether or not the organisation charges anyone for the work TableCore is used for.

For this section:

  • "Total annual revenue" means all revenue, turnover, sales, fees, grants, donations, subsidies and equivalent income from every source, including income entirely unconnected with TableCore, MongoDB or software, for the organisation's most recently completed financial year. Revenue is not reduced by costs, taxes or transfers.
  • Where the organisation belongs to a group, revenue is measured for the group as a whole, including any parent, any entity it controls and any entity under common control with it.
  • Where the organisation has not yet completed a financial year, its revenue over the preceding twelve months is used instead.
  • Where the figure is not stated in US dollars, it is converted using the European Central Bank reference rate for the first day of the financial year concerned.

Crossing the threshold. An organisation already above the threshold when it begins using TableCore needs a paid plan from the start. An organisation that crosses the threshold while using the Free plan must obtain a paid plan, or stop using the Service, within 60 days after the end of the financial year in which the threshold was exceeded. Use of the Free plan during that period is not a breach of these Terms.

Organisations already using the Free plan. This section applies from 17 August 2026 and does not act retroactively. An organisation that was already using the Free plan on that date, and was already above the threshold on that date, has 60 days from 17 August 2026 to obtain a paid plan or stop using the Service; use of the Free plan during that period is not a breach of these Terms, and use before that date was not a breach of the Terms as they then stood.

What this section does not restrict. This section governs the licence to install and use the TableCore desktop application and the account plan associated with it. The public website, the documentation, the articles and the in-browser SQL-to-MongoDB converter described in section 2 remain free of charge, available without an account and open to everyone, whatever your revenue. This section also does not change what the Free plan can do: it is a condition on who may license it, not a capability limit, and the capabilities of each plan are those shown in the Service.

How we apply it. We rely on your own assessment of your eligibility. TableCore does not measure your revenue, does not ask you to declare it and does not inspect your finances, and no capability is withheld automatically on the basis of this section. Where we reasonably believe that an organisation above the threshold is using the Free plan for its activity, we will contact it and allow a reasonable opportunity to obtain a paid plan before exercising any remedy under section 18.

8. Critical SQL-to-MongoDB translation warning

TableCore's SQL-to-MongoDB output is a developer aid, not an authoritative statement of query equivalence. You must independently review and verify every generated query, pipeline, command, explanation, preview and result before relying on it or running it against important data.

MongoDB has a flexible document model. Documents in one collection may have different fields, missing fields, different types for the same field, nested objects, arrays and relationships represented by embedding or references. TableCore cannot infer every data invariant, business rule, schema version, relationship or intended SQL meaning from a query or a sample of documents.

Translation can therefore be syntactically valid but semantically wrong, incomplete, over-inclusive, under-inclusive, inefficient or unsuitable for your data. Differences may arise from, among other things:

  • missing, null and undefined values;
  • mixed BSON types, numeric precision, dates, time zones and collation;
  • arrays, nested documents, polymorphic records and historical schema versions;
  • joins, grouping, ordering, pagination, duplicate handling and SQL three-valued logic;
  • indexes, server configuration, permissions, MongoDB version and driver behaviour;
  • incomplete samples, metadata, inferred field paths or user-provided assumptions.

TableCore does not warrant that translated output is equivalent to SQL, returns all and only the intended records, preserves ordering or precision, performs acceptably, or is safe for production. A displayed preview, successful parse, successful execution, result count, explain plan or absence of an error does not prove correctness.

9. Verification responsibilities and safety precautions

For business and professional users, the following are contractual responsibilities. For Consumers, they are strongly recommended safety precautions and do not limit mandatory statutory rights, shift to the Consumer our statutory responsibility for conformity, or exclude an available statutory remedy.

Before relying on TableCore output, business and professional users must use professional judgement and take safeguards appropriate to the consequences of an error. Consumers should take precautions appropriate to the reasonably foreseeable consequences of an error. Accordingly, business and professional users must, and Consumers should where appropriate:

  1. review the generated MongoDB query or pipeline and understand what it will do;
  2. test it on representative, non-production data, including missing fields, mixed types, empty arrays, boundary values and historical document shapes;
  3. compare results with a trusted baseline and validate counts, samples, ordering, joins, aggregates and edge cases;
  4. check permissions, selected cluster, database and collection before execution;
  5. maintain current, tested backups and a recovery or rollback plan;
  6. use least-privilege and read-only credentials where writes are unnecessary;
  7. review performance and an explain plan before running expensive queries on production; and
  8. obtain any required technical, security, compliance or professional review.

Do not use unverified output for destructive writes, migrations, backups or restores; financial, tax, legal, medical or safety decisions; access-control decisions; critical infrastructure; or any situation where an incorrect result could cause material harm. You remain the person who decides whether and where to execute output. TableCore does not access your database merely because it displays or translates a query; execution occurs only through the connection and action you select.

For a Consumer, failure to follow a recommendation in this section does not by itself waive a statutory right or prove that the Service conformed to the contract. The consequences of a Consumer's act or omission are determined only under applicable mandatory law, including any rules concerning causation, damage and failure to install a properly notified update.

10. Your databases, content and credentials

You retain responsibility for databases, queries, documents, connection details and other material you use with the Service ("User Content"). You confirm that you have the rights and authority needed to access and process it and that your use complies with law, contractual duties, confidentiality and data-protection requirements.

Do not send production database content, credentials, secrets, personal data or confidential information to public forms, support tickets or future online converter features unless the relevant feature expressly states that it is designed and authorised to receive them. Desktop connection secrets are intended to stay in your operating system credential store. You are responsible for choosing appropriate credentials and protecting your systems.

11. Plans, trials, payments and taxes

Free and paid capabilities, prices, billing periods and trial terms are shown before purchase. The Free plan costs nothing but is not open to every user: section 7 states who may license it and when a paid plan is required instead. A free trial may require a payment method and may convert to a paid recurring subscription unless cancelled before the displayed renewal time. You can manage or cancel an active subscription using the billing controls made available to you; access may continue until the end of the paid or trial period.

Checkout identifies the entity acting as seller or merchant of record. When checkout identifies Link as the merchant of record or displays "Sold through Link", Link is the seller for that payment transaction and Link's checkout terms, payment terms, tax treatment, refund process and privacy notice also apply. If checkout does not identify another seller or merchant of record, MagmaCore is the seller.

Regardless of which entity is the seller for the payment transaction, MagmaCore provides and licenses the TableCore software and these Terms govern permitted use of the software, accounts, licence restrictions and product-specific responsibilities. They do not replace the seller's transaction terms or reduce any right against the legally responsible party.

12. Right of withdrawal

If you are a Consumer, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. Cancellation of renewal and statutory withdrawal are separate rights, and a free trial does not replace or shorten a statutory withdrawal period.

The applicable seller, instructions, effects, rules for performance started during the withdrawal period and a model withdrawal form are provided in our Right of Withdrawal notice. Where a merchant of record is identified at checkout, its withdrawal route may also apply. Nothing in these Terms treats mere download, installation, use or trial activation as a waiver where the law requires a separate express request, consent, acknowledgement or confirmation.

13. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with third-party products, including MongoDB, operating-system credential stores, Cloudflare, OAuth providers and Stripe or Link. Their services are governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable. TableCore is not affiliated with or endorsed by MongoDB, Inc. unless expressly stated. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

14. Updates, availability and changes

We may provide security fixes, compatibility updates and feature changes. Some updates may be required for the Service, account or paid capabilities to continue working safely. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability and may suspend access to protect users, systems or the Service; comply with law; address abuse; or perform maintenance.

During the continuous supply of a digital service, changes beyond those necessary to keep it in conformity may be made only for justified reasons described in the contract, including:

  • adapting to a changed operating system, browser, MongoDB version, identity, payment or infrastructure API;
  • addressing a vulnerability, security incident, abuse pattern or material threat to users or the Service;
  • complying with a new or changed legal, regulatory, court or competent-authority requirement;
  • replacing a third-party dependency, integration or API that is discontinued, materially changed or no longer reasonably supportable;
  • responding to material economic or operational impracticability, including disproportionately high maintenance, infrastructure or third-party costs relative to the actual use or principal purpose of a feature;
  • improving accessibility, performance, capacity, reliability or interoperability; or
  • rebuilding or replacing a feature while preserving its principal purpose, or adding functionality that does not reduce existing contractual functionality.

Such a change will not impose an additional charge on a consumer. We will give clear information about it. If it materially and negatively affects a consumer's access to or use of the digital content or service, we will give advance notice on a durable medium describing the nature and timing of the change and the right to terminate where applicable. The consumer may terminate without notice within 30 days after the later of the change or that notice, unless the law permits us to avoid termination by maintaining, without extra cost, access to a conforming unchanged version.

We may discontinue a paid feature or Service for a justified reason identified above, including where continued supply has become materially economically or operationally impracticable, or because of a legal or security requirement, withdrawal of a necessary third-party technology or closure of the Service. We will provide advance notice and any continued access, termination, proportionate refund or other remedy required by mandatory law. These paragraphs do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

15. Complaints procedure

You may submit a complaint concerning an electronic service, account, licence status, subscription, billing, application functionality or other TableCore performance free of charge by e-mail to tablecore.dev@gmail.com, preferably with Complaint or Reklamacja in the subject, or by post to the address in the Legal Notice. The account Support area currently records product support and feedback requests but is not a formal complaint-delivery or reply channel unless it expressly states otherwise.

A complaint should, where possible, include your name or account e-mail, the affected service and account, a description of the issue, the date or period when it occurred, relevant non-secret evidence or error messages, and the remedy you request. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens, payment-card data, database credentials or production records. Missing optional details do not invalidate a complaint; we may ask for information reasonably necessary to investigate it.

We will confirm receipt through an available durable channel and respond without undue delay. Where the complainant is a consumer, we will respond within 14 days after receiving the complaint unless a shorter mandatory period applies. Where applicable law provides that failure to respond within that period means the complaint is accepted, that rule applies. For other users, our target is also 14 days. The response will be sent on paper or to the e-mail associated with the complaint, or through another durable medium agreed with you, and will state the outcome and reasons where required.

If the complaint concerns a payment, tax, refund or transaction handled by a merchant of record such as Link, that entity's complaint and transaction-support rules may also apply. You may still contact us; we will identify or route the matter to the responsible entity where appropriate. This does not limit any claim you may have against the party legally responsible for the service or transaction.

Submitting a complaint does not prevent a consumer from exercising mandatory remedies for non-conforming digital content or services, withdrawing from a contract where the law allows it, contacting a consumer ombudsman or competent authority, using an available out-of-court consumer dispute procedure, or bringing a court claim. Information about Polish consumer dispute resolution is available at polubowne.uokik.gov.pl.

Privacy-rights requests and security reports may use the same e-mail address but are handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection or security procedures rather than as a product complaint.

16. Feedback and support

If you submit feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission. Support does not replace a database administrator, security specialist, accountant, lawyer or other professional adviser. Response times are not guaranteed unless a separate written service-level agreement says otherwise.

17. Intellectual property

TableCore, its design, software, documentation and branding are owned by MagmaCore or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the Service. Open-source components remain subject to their own licences.

18. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may cancel a subscription through the available billing controls. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security or legal risk, fail to pay applicable fees, or misuse the Service. Where the law requires notice or an opportunity to cure, we will provide it.

On termination, your licence ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits and dispute provisions.

19. Consumer conformity rights and business-user disclaimer

Consumers retain all mandatory rights concerning conformity of digital content and digital services with the contract. Depending on applicable law and the contract, conformity may include description, quality, completeness, functionality, compatibility, interoperability, accessibility, continuity, security, technical support, updates, fitness for ordinary purposes and any particular purpose accepted by the responsible trader. Nothing in these Terms excludes, waives or reduces those rights or the associated statutory remedies.

For business and professional users only, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service and all generated output are provided "as is" and "as available". For those users, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability and error-free operation.

For business and professional users, we do not warrant that SQL-to-MongoDB translation is correct for their document shapes or business rules, that results are complete, or that using the Service will prevent data loss, downtime or security incidents. This business-user disclaimer does not apply where a warranty, guarantee, conformity obligation or remedy cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is unlawful, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer remedies.

For consumers, our liability is limited only to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you. These Terms do not deprive you of mandatory protections of the country where you habitually reside.

For users acting for business or professional purposes, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MagmaCore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data;
  • MagmaCore is not liable for loss caused by executing output without the verification and safeguards required by section 9, by incorrect assumptions about your data, by third-party systems, or by credentials and infrastructure under your control; and
  • MagmaCore's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the fees actually paid for the affected Service during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These allocations of risk are an essential basis on which the Service is offered, but apply only where enforceable.

21. Business-user indemnity

If you use the Service for business or professional purposes, you will defend and indemnify MagmaCore against third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful User Content, unauthorised database access, infringement of third-party rights, or material breach of sections 4, 9 or 10. This does not apply to the extent the claim was caused by MagmaCore's own breach, negligence or wilful misconduct.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections provided by the law of your habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer law. For business users, courts competent for MagmaCore's principal place of business in Poland have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect a change in applicable law or an authority's decision; address a security threat or abuse; adapt to a changed or discontinued technology, dependency or third-party API; correct an error or ambiguity; update our identity or contact details; change which plans exist, what they cost and who may license them, for users who are not consumers and with prospective effect only; or describe a lawful Service change made for one of the justified reasons in section 14. We will not use this clause to remove an existing consumer right or arbitrarily withdraw an already-paid licence.

We will identify the effective date. For a material change affecting an existing account or paid Service, we will provide advance notice through a durable medium where required and explain any available termination right. Changes do not impose retroactive obligations where prohibited by law or additional charges on a consumer during an agreed billing period. If a change materially and negatively affects a continuously supplied digital service, the notice and 30-day termination rules in section 14 apply. Changes needed only for new users or future purchases will not alter an existing fixed-term contract unless the contract and mandatory law allow it.

24. General terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be applied to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale if your mandatory rights are not reduced. These Terms, the applicable checkout terms and any expressly incorporated plan terms form the agreement concerning the Service.

25. Contact
